As a traveler from the Lothian region, I had high hopes for the Stunning Modern Lodge in Port Seton. the proximity to beautiful beaches and Edinburgh Airport made it a convenient choice. the access to a patio and free private parking were definite bonuses, allowing for relaxation and hassle-free parking. the shower was initially unusable, and the fridge was dirty. Despite the owner's assistance and explanation, I couldn't help but feel let down by the lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. The two bathrooms with a bath or shower were a nice touch, but overall, the lodge didn't quite live up to its stunning and modern advertisement. Perhaps with a deep clean and some TLC, it could truly shine. As someone who appreciates cleanliness and attention to detail, I hope the owners take this feedback onboard for future guests.
